After an amount of time in therapy and you feel good enough that you've decided that you no longer need or want it, it can sometimes be helpful to drop in for well-being sessions. These sessions can happen monthly or randomly by just booking one appointment when needed. Some people may book back in for a few sessions to deal with something that has come up in their life.
Although my main body of work is in Psychotherapy, I am also a qualified and experienced Hypnotherapist, Massage Therapist, Reflexologist, Aromatherapist and Nutritionist. This means that ex Psychotherapy clients can access my skill set in a wider variety of ways.
Here are some reasons that some people use well-being sessions.
-To check in and discuss their personal development when feeling a need for some movement.
-To discuss a new personal or relationship issue that has come up which they may or may not need to do some work on.
-To explore why anxiety or low mood has come upon them when usually they're fine.
-To assist with life decisions.
-To explore a problem with a baby, child or teenager
-To consider what to do with conflict or issues with adult children.
-To deal with a negative situation that life has thrown their way which they feel they would benefit from a bit of professional guidance about.
-To de-stress using Indian Head of scalp massage, Reflexology or use Aromatherapy to help an ailment.
-Identify which other therapies may suit their condition or ailments.
