Counselling for Hypnotherapists & Psychotherapeutic Counsellors
Effective Therapists need an advanced level of self awareness, self understanding and self knowledge and it is therefore good practice for a counsellor to have personal therapy. We usually do anyway as we believe in the benefits of counselling and rather enjoy being the other side of the space for a change.
Personal therapy for counsellors supports your well-being, on-going personal development and is a safe place for therapists to discuss their own problems or concerns from their own personal life if needed.
Trainee Counsellors, Psychotherapists & Hypnotherapists
If you are studying Counselling, Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy or Applied Psychology and have come to the point where personal therapy & counselling is recommended or required for your course, then I may be able to provide the therapy you are looking for.
If your course has a requirement, then check if there is a requirement that your therapist needs to have the same accreditation that you are also working towards.
I am registered with The National Counselling Society who is a member of the Professional Standard Authority who are a UK Government recognised organisation.
