Anxiety, Depression and or Stress Management & Interventions

Below are some of the ways I work to support people to tackle, reduce and manage the uncomfortable physical and emotinal effects of stress overload and anxiety from mild to severe.  All talking therapies go a very long way to reduce stress, anxiety & depression at sometimes only talking therapies are needed, but I enchance my work by incorporating a wider aspect of stress & anxiety reduction techniques as described here.

Mental Health Counselling

Often when very stressed, people suffer from anxiety and depression (including panic attacks).  Mental Health counselling aims to reduce uncomfortable symptoms and explore your thoughts and feelings about whats going on in your life.

RELATIONSHIP & INTERPERSONAL THERAPY
If you are struggling with how other people in your life are making you feel then therapy around relationships and your functionning in them and how others affect you can help make necessary changes to your stress levels.

Psychotherapy

Personal Psychotherapy aims to reduce long term deep rooted issues or behaviours that increase peoples levels of stress.  Often you may not know if this would be best for you until you start some counselling.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Psychotherapy is not all about negative stuff.  Much of therapy can be enjoyable as you gain self understanding, acceptance, self empowerment and self esteem.

Hypnotherapy & Meditation

Alongside physical and emotional intervention, hypnotherapy and meditation start to tackle the mind and it's tendancy to ruminate, worry and think irrationally.  These practices enable people to access their emotional areas in a safe way which helps self understanding

Reflexology

Sometimes, physical intervention is needed to intercept the cycle of stress problems. 

Many health therapies can improve physical symptoms such as stress related headaches, insomnia, high BP, skin conditions, ISB and skin conditions.

I work closely with Complementary Therapist's to enable people to access the best physical intervention to suit them best. This can include Massage, Reiki and other therapies >
